What
could possibly be said for one such as her? She saves the day so
many times by her servant heart and the things done when no one is
looking. Faithful, joyful, friendly, in love with Jesus, determined,
a leader are only a few words that this family and ministry would
describe Courtney as being. She is not only a great friend to us
with 7 Thunders but she is a huge backbone to the Furnace Prayer
Team as she is raising up ones skilled in song with the ability to
proclaim with boldness and confidence the Word of God. The Lord has
been using her in great ways to proclaim the Father’s Heart with her
words and actions. She is truly a gift to this
team.

Washington
DC
During
the end of October about half of our team took a trip to
Washington DC to join The Cause, led
by Lou Engle, as they took a silent siege to stand for the unborn
babies. For five hours a day at least 100 persons stood before the
Supreme Court while appealing to a Higher
Court to reverse the curse of
Roe vs. Wade, the law giving people the right to kill their babies.
They were also standing in prayer asking God to have mercy on our
nation. We realized even more vividly that this is a journey that
the Lord is longing to take this generation on in order to cry out
for righteousness and justice in their nation. In almost every
nation there are forms of unrighteousness whether in the government
and/or in the people and the Lord is raising up a standard against
it. He is not raising up those who will protest or use violence but
the righteous who will shake and shape their nation through prayer
and fasting. “If my people will turn to Me with all their hearts,
with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; if they will rend
their hearts, who knows if He will turn and relent from doing harm
and leave a blessing behind Him.” (Joel 2:12-14)
Update
from Tenn.
Trip
We took
a combined team from 7 Thunders and FPT of about 11 to the
tri-cities where we then met up with a group of about 20 from The
Cause. The impact of the zeal for righteousness and justice found in
the groups transformed many people with a fresh vision of the desire
of God for these foundations in our nation. As Kirk spoke on the
need and urgency for righteousness in our land by the turning back
of Roe. Vs. Wade, many people were touched who either had an
abortion or knew of someone who had. One lady that attended the
meeting experienced the forgiveness of the Lord for the first time
for over 35 years. She had had an abortion in her earlier years and
was finally brought into the light of His forgiveness and released
from the guilt and shame that had bounded her up almost all her
life. Along with this we had a meeting with the pastors from the
tri-cities in which Kirk exhorted and empowered them with a vision
of city wide prayer as well as individual lives of prayer. He also
released the vision to begin to walk in prophecy, releasing the
testimony of Jesus into their cities.
The
Furnace Prayer Team takes a stand
(2
Chron. 29:11)
The 7
Thunders team came back impacted and changed forever by taking a
stand for righteousness in our nation as they stood before God. They
were impacted by the difficulty in standing before God because it
brought up the lack of the fear of the Lord, the impact that He
would draw us near in order to partner with Him on behalf of the
purposes in His heart, the honor to stand on behalf of the unborn,
as well as the sin of allowing unrighteousness to stand, and the
weakness of the body in standing for long hours. They encountered
the intimacy that the priests found as they ministered to God in the
place of standing which opened their hearts to receive the emotions
of God.
Since we
are called as priests before our God the Furnace Prayer Team has
taken up the position of standing before the King of Kings in order
to minister as well as standing to appeal to God to reverse the
curse in our land called abortion. During our times of meditation we
split off into shifts in order to have a frontline standing before
God the whole time we are in the prayer room. As we continue towards
the Goal, pressing in towards His heart the Lord is growing a deeper
and stronger desire within this team to be priests before our God
with a flowing heart. (John 7:38). We are truly starting to see
clearer aspects of the priesthood within this
team.
Dreams
Forum and Seminars
This
last month we have started a One Day Forum on dreams and
interpretation. Kirk and another leader in the House of Prayer, Ben
Atkinson, have joined together in order to empower those who dream
and long to dream to treasure these gifts from God as the Word of
the Lord being release to them and through them in dreams. The Lord
is again bring forth the importance of dreams.
