Zadok House of Prayer
It's been a year already!
Today, Dec 15th, is the year anniversary of a when a team of around 50 people moved from Kansas City, MO to Fort Mill, SC to birth the Zadok House of Prayer. A lot of transition and changes have happened since then. It’s amazing what the Lord has done here in a year. The Lord has been good to ZHOP and the staff of ZHOP. We have so many testimonies of financial provision and testimonies of the Lord encountering hearts. He is good and His mercy endures.
ZHOP is getting closer and closer each day to moving into our new building. Please be praying that process to get the permit for the building would go quickly.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Remember the greatest gift, Jesus, who gave His life for us. Thank you for all of your prayers and support this past year.

Internships
On December 7th the second group of Zadok Interns graduated. These interns overcame a lot of obstacles during their internship and a lot of changes. Six of the seven interns are planning on returning and being on staff with ZHOP. Here are testimonies from 2 of the interns:
“ZHOP changed my life, plain and simple. But then again its hard to sit anywhere for 6 hours at a time and it not be life changing. I came to ZHOP expecting only to meet God in a way I hadn't ever before, instead I was pulled into a world of love, passion, and mystery that I HAD to know more about. God was waiting to capture my heart all these years and I had no idea. Its truly an amazing feeling to know and feel you're loved by the King of Kings.”-Maggie Witt(Virgina)
“The past internship was amazing. It has definitely changed my life. It placed a passion and love in my heart for Jesus Christ. It also put urgency in me to wake up my generation and have them start praying for a culture of life in this nation.”-Ben Hailstone(Maryland)
The next terms of the Zadok Internship and Awakened Internship will start in January. Check the website for more info. www.zhop.org/internships.html
Meditation
We believe that meditation is key for understanding and going deeper in the word.
What we do is we have one verse that we will meditate on for about 3-4 weeks
at a time. We have meetings each week to share what we have received from the
Lord. Right now we are meditating on Hebrews Chapter 11
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible"
Here is some insight from one of our staff members Zion:
“I've just been thinking about those two words, ‘by faith’ and the best place to see this walked out is to read about the lives of my forefathers. The question that has been stirring in my heart is: Do I believe as they believed? Do I really believe the Word of God, that it is more than stories to be read but it is the lives of people who took hold of God, they saw He who is invisible and lived extraordinary lives. They saw past the issues of this world, their natural circumstances and pursued the eternal, taking hold of the promises from a far off. They were far off yet they pursued with intentional lives. What did they perceive? It has been stirring within me the wanting to believe as they believe and therefore live lives that the world was not worthy of.””
Trips
On October 18th-25th, a team from 7 Thunders ministered at the Heartland House
of Prayer in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Here is a report from Jenn Seifert, one
of the team members who went on the trip:
“The Council Bluffs, IA trip was a time of encouraging the body of Christ through prophecy and through teaching. One of my favorite times during the trip was sitting down and talking to the leadership of that House of Prayer. We as a team answered a wide variety of questions about everything from finances to how to effectively lead an intercession prayer set. Really it was good just getting to know them and their hearts for night and day prayer.
Also, the team also spent one full day at the conference giving personal prophecy to over 250 people! It was amazing afterwards to hear people share with me what God had shown them through their time of personal prophecy and to rejoice with them in it.”
On Nov 10-12 a team from 7thunders ministered at the Atlanta House of Prayer in Atlanta, Georgia. Here is a report from one of the team members Isaac Bennett:
“We joined with Bound4Life Atlanta in their siege of the ‘SurgiCenter.’ This abortion clinic is located a short distance from Georgia Tech. It’s there for the convenience of killing college women’s babies. Nine out ten of the girls that came out of the clinic were African American. Our team felt that it’s the assault on the African American prophetic voice, the same assault that came against them in the bondage of slavery and racism. We did a Bound 4 Life Atlanta seminar on Saturday and their team really got messed up about the LIFE message that Kirk carries. We did a prayer rumble on Saturday night and cried out for the city that God would break in and abortion would be ended.”
Upcoming Trips:
- January 6-7 – Greensboro, North Carolina
- January 26-28- Atlanta, Georgia(leadership conference)
