7 Thunders Newsletter – February 2005

  The meditation movement has begun!!

 The Elkhart House of Prayer has now started a prayer furnace team that meditates together on a daily bases then gets together and debriefs on their time before the Lord. They are starting to go deep in the Word and beginning to have their hearts alive.

Kirk taught on meditation to a church in Portland, OR who are now meditating together as a church during this season of Lent. We will see if they are able to put it away after Lent is done! 

The Cause USA was trained in meditation for their first internship class.

 Staff Highlight

Christina Ward

Christina has been spear heading the area of product in 7 Thunders which is an area very critical to releasing our message into the world as well as releasing funds to free up young intercessory missionaries to live lives of prayer. Each person on our staff plays different critical roles to this ministry but we think hers is one of the most critical in this time. She has wisdom, administration skills, and understanding that helps 7 Thunders be what it is today. She is definitely a gift to us as a ministry, and as a spiritual family. She is a fiery woman of God trumpeting the call to having clean hands and a pure heart with a spirit of truth on her life that is like a fire shut up in her bones. Not only that but she can always brightens up our day by making those who are around her smile and laugh by her humor.

Decree of life series

There is a higher court in the heavens.  The battle is not over. We must choose now if we will let this pass by to be just a movement or if we will give our lives for those who have no voice. Kirk teaches at Forerunner School of Ministry

Every Thursday night from 7-10pm Kirk and a few of us here gather together in the new FSM building, old Metro church, and help Kirk.  In the first class Kirk did an overview of the priesthood and in the second Kirk went through the Old Testament prophets and looked at their priestly ministry before God. We have seen how all throughout the Bible God has a clear yearning for a people that will live near to Him. (Ex. 19:6) He spoke on how the well being of a nation is centered on the righteousness of the priests who stand, serve, minister, and burn incense to God and the people of that nation. (2 Chron. 29:11, Jer. 33:22) People are having their eyes awakened to what their identity is as priests before the Living God and being able to learn ways in order to enter into this more fully, specifically through meditation of the Word unto God.

Prayer Requests

·        The 7 Thunders staff – Luke Ahrenholtz, Courtney Arrington, Steven and Sage Beauchamp, Katie Bennett, Tyler Dunstan, Andy and Bek Hickman, Jordan Johnson, Rachel Myers, Rebekah Myers, Christina Ward, and Sarah Youmans, that the Spirit of Grace and supplication would continue in them to pray and prophesy.

·        Kirk - Pray that he has understanding and revelation on escatalogy of a culture of life.

·        Isaac, Katie, and Abby – Increased joy and zeal for God. Something of real power is continuing to happen with our children, and we’re asking for the Spirit to guard and disciple them in it.

·        The I.H.O.P.s – There are houses of prayer springing up all over the world. We have had the extreme privilege to be friends with an amazing number of them. Pray for ways to keep those friendships alive, viable, and strategic.

·        The Bennett’s - Pray for the health and well-being of our family, our finances, and understanding in our lives.

·        Trips - guidance and direction concerning this year.
