Jesus said once to the spiritual leaders of His day, ‘You can discern the signs in the natural for the coming weather, but how is it that you can not discern the signs of the times?’ In 2001 a dear friend of mine had a major encounter with an angel from God. The angel began to explain to him about coming future events for America and the nations. He indicated that these events would mark a new era for the world. I remember the very information that my friend shared with me changed my world view and my life.
Nov 2001, What came into my spirit and mind as he shared that day was an urgency of the importance of my daily lifestyle, a joyful anticipation to begin to see things that prophets of the bible spoke of, and true ‘fear of the Lord’ that is promised in the scripture for those who really want to know God. My friend was told specific times (years) when specific signs would occur and 5 or 6 stages or seasons when another dimension of these prophecies would begin. The first sign he was shown was an economic crisis leading to a global economic collapse. The angel told him, “it will begin in 2008”. I remember thinking that 7 years didn’t seem like a very long time to prepare for such a thing seeing that many people would probably not even recognize the validity of this prediction even if it were to happen before their eyes.
Since hearing from my friend Terry Bennett those predictive words in 2001, the Lord has spoken to me several other things that are bearing out to fit with this ongoing prophecy and are beginning to occur as well. The night before major economic crisis was announced in Spet of 2008, i was sitting in a church and the Lord spoke to my heart, “It begins now, The winds of change and the economic crisis has begun”. the next morning (a Sunday oddly enough) it was announced in the news that two major insurance investors were going bankrupt. The crisis had begun.
In Oct 2008 an angel stood behind me during a meeting and began to shout “Prepare Prepare Prepare” over and over again into my spirit. I have never had that experience before in my life. I can still feel at times the disruption of that angel’s voice and the very sound waves running through me at times when I say those words. God is seeking to wake us up and get us ready for something we have never seen before. I am not predicting the end of the world as we know it but God clearly predicts in the bible through Christ and the prophets historic global change of eras or epochs. I’m sure that we are fast approaching one of those.
