One of my favorite Apostolic prayers is Colossians 4:2-4. In this prayer, Paul

solicits the intercession of saints who arguably less spiritual than he. He is their

instructor, and yet he calls out for their prayers. He is seeking an open door in the

spirit, and he knows if they pray; his ability to gain access to that open door in the

area where he is preaching becomes more probable. At the end of this prayer, he

says: “that I may make this mystery of Christ manifest as I should do”. This

manifesting of Christ, His character, His nature, the beholding of Him, is the call of

every believer. The word Christian means “little Christ”.

We are to be those who manifest just as Paul did. Manifesting the revelation

of God, the Father and the kingdom of God.

While you pursue the Lord in prayer, pray earnestly that you and others:

ministers, preachers and missionaries would manifest Christ, and He would be seen

through His people in the earth in these days.
