The glory of God is seemingly the essence and nature of God that takes

people to their knees as they behold Him in His brightness. The glory of God is light,

it’s heat and it’s beauty beyond comprehension. Four different times in the New

Testament, God’s voice is audible in the natural realm. Each of these times

demonstrates an aspect of God’s glory. Therefore, His glory is not just visual but also

audible. And that audible glory has an impact and a potentially transformative

nature.

I taught a teaching series called ‘Contending for the Glory’ in Topeka, KS, the

very beginning place of the Pentecostal revival in the early 1900’s. I taught this

series for the purpose of getting people tuned to God’s glory in an audible way. I did

this so that we can hear His voice more effectively. I also added into the series a

single teaching on the gift of tongues. Tongues was birthed in the United States in a

corporate way in the Pentecostal renewal in Topeka. Tongues is still a ‘birthing gift’

in the body of Christ that launches people into the realms of glory These are the

spiritual realm as God has them for us.
